The technical teams will again meet Monday, in Egypt, to work through and clarify the final details,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, international pressure has mounted on Israel as humanitarian conditions have become dire in Gaza, with thousands dead in the war\u2019s wake and famine in some areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Hamas said it could <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/international\/5537890-hamas-trump-peace-deal-gaza\/?email=467cb6399cb7df64551775e431052b43a775c749&amp;emaila=12a6d4d069cd56cfddaa391c24eb7042&amp;emailb=054528e7403871c79f668e49dd3c44b1ec00c7f611bf9388f76bb2324d6ca5f3&amp;utm_source=Sailthru&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=10.03.25%20%E2%80%93%20Defense%20%26%20National%20Security\">accept portions<\/a> of a peace deal to end the war in Gaza from the Trump administration, including Israeli hostages being freed. The militant group also said other elements of the peace deal would need further consultation.<\/p>\n<p>The president took a victory <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/international\/5538756-trump-hamas-israel-peace-deal\/\">lap Saturday<\/a> in the wake of Israel and Hamas signaling backing for his peace plan, but pushed for Hamas to \u201cmove quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI appreciate that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing in order to give the Hostage release and Peace Deal a chance to be completed,\u201d Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHamas must move quickly, or else all bets will be off,\u201d he continued. \u201cI will not tolerate delay, which many think will happen, or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat again. Let\u2019s get this done, FAST.
