General Assembly on Thursday, during which the conflict a \u201cwar of genocide, destruction, starvation, and displacement.\u201d The State Department said in August that it would <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/5477830-state-department-revokes-palestinian-visas\/\">block the visas<\/a> of the Palestinian delegation ahead of the U.N. gathering.<\/p>\n<p>U.N. delegates critical of <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/ap\/ap-international\/ap-aid-groups-call-for-stronger-efforts-to-stop-israels-gaza-city-offensive-as-israel-presses-forward-2\/\">Israel\u2019s continued military operation<\/a> in Gaza <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/international\/5523577-netanyahu-united-nations-speech-walkout-israel-gaza\/\">boycotted<\/a> Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s Friday speech.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu rejected claims of genocide in his remarks, which he said was <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/international\/5523609-benjamin-netanyahu-un-gaza-message\/\">broadcast<\/a> to Palestinians\u2019 cellphones and to loudspeakers aimed toward the Gaza Strip.
