Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Apple CEO Tim Cook are among the business leaders invited to the United Kingdom state dinner for President Trump.<\/p>\n
The dinner at St. George\u2019s Hall will include 160 guests, and Trump is expected to sit between King Charles III and Kate, Princess of Wales, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the other side of the king.<\/p>\n
Across the table will sit, from left to right, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Queen Camilla, first lady Melania Trump and Prince William.<\/p>\n
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will sit next to Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman and Jeanette Rubio, the wife of the secretary of State.<\/p>\n
Cook is seated next to Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the president. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Open AI\u2019s Sam Altman and former U.S. golfer Nick Faldo will also attend.<\/p>\n
The menu for the dinner, according to journalists who received a preview, will be on cards in French for each guest. Several large cards with the English version were placed on easels around the room.<\/p>\n
The starter is a Hampshire watercress panna cotta with Parmesan shortbread and quail egg salad; the main is an organic Norfolk chicken ballotine wrapped in courgettes, with a thyme and savory infused jus, and the dessert is a vanilla ice cream bombe with Kentish raspberry sorbet interior with lightly poached Victoria plums.<\/p>\n
Because Trump doesn\u2019t drink alcohol, royal officials said the presidential team would tell them what soft drinks he would be drinking. The wine list for other guests includes a California red, English sparkling wine and Pol Roger champagne, which was former Prime Minister Winston Churchill\u2019s favorite.<\/p>\n
After dinner, guests will be served Warre\u2019s 1945 Vintage Port in recognition of Trump as the 45th \u2014 as well as the 47th \u2014 president, Hennessy 1912 Cognac Grande Champagne for Trump\u2019s mother\u2019s birth year and a Bowmore Queen\u2019s Cask 1980, which was a gift to Queen Elizabeth.<\/p>\n
