Tech billionaire Elon Musk claimed left-leaning people were \u201ccelebrating\u201d conservative activist Charlie Kirk\u2019s death \u201copenly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then you see how much violence there’s on the left, with our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week, and people on the left celebrating it openly,\u201d Musk said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe left is the party of murder,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Musk posted his comments in a video clip on Sunday on the social platform X, which he owns, but they appear to have been made during an event reported by The Associated Press at a march in London organized by far-right activist<\/a> Tommy Robinson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Kirk was talking at an event at a university in Orem, Utah, when he was shot and killed.<\/a> Following a manhunt featuring state, local and federal law enforcement, officials identified the alleged suspect as Tyler Robinson, 22, of Utah.<\/p>\n

Kirk\u2019s death has rattled American politics, with New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman saying Friday \u201cmany people around President Trump are very close to Charlie Kirk.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump was very close to Charlie Kirk,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd President Trump faced two assassination attempts, one near miss last year.\u201d<\/p>\n
