{"id":353,"date":"2025-09-04T18:41:28","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T18:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globaltaalenthq.com\/?p=353"},"modified":"2025-09-08T08:50:51","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T08:50:51","slug":"melania-trump-hosts-tech-leaders-at-ai-education-roundtable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globaltaalenthq.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/04\/melania-trump-hosts-tech-leaders-at-ai-education-roundtable\/","title":{"rendered":"Melania Trump hosts tech leaders at AI education roundtable\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First lady Melania Trump hosted several top technology leaders at the White House on Thursday for a meeting of an artificial intelligence (AI) education task force, as she increasingly <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/5470552-melania-trump-ai-school-challenge\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/5470552-melania-trump-ai-school-challenge\/\">takes up the mantle<\/a> of AI-related issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She was joined by Google CEO Sundar Pichai and IBM chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna, while OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was spotted in the audience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI predict AI will represent the single largest growth category in our nation during this\u00a0administration \u2014 and I won\u2019t be surprised if AI becomes known as the greatest engine of progress in the history of the United States of America,\u201d the first lady said Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as leaders and parents, we must manage AI\u2019s growth responsibly,\u201d she added. \u201cDuring this primitive stage, it is our duty to treat AI as we would our own children \u2014 empowering but with watchful guidance.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The task force meeting follows her announcement last week of a presidential AI challenge, urging students across the country to \u201cunleash their imagination and showcase the spirit of American innovation.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She also helped usher the Take It Down Act through Congress earlier this year.
