Now, @RepRobertGarcia and @SenBlumenthal are trying to put ICE agents at risk just for doing their jobs,\u201d Bondi <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AGPamBondi\/status\/1980713263081091176\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said in a post on<\/a> the social platform X, referring to Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c@TheJusticeDept has ZERO tolerance for violence against law enforcement \u2014 we will prosecute any person who physically assaults our agents,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Bondi\u2019s post also featured a clip of a Monday press conference with Garcia and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Oversight Committee, I shared this with the mayor \u2014 over the course of the next couple of weeks, the Oversight Committee will be launching on their website a master ICE tracker where we can \u2026 essentially [track] every single instance that we can verify that the community will send, be able to send us information on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;ll be all available in one central place,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia responded to Bondi <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepRobertGarcia\/status\/1980726577718591665\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">with his own X post<\/a> an hour after Bondi\u2019s initial post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey @AGPamBondi, ICE detaining over 170 U.S. citizens is not them \u2018just doing their jobs.\u2019 But since you have the time to tweet at me\u2014when are you going to stop covering for pedophiles and release the Epstein files?\u201d the California Democrat said.<\/p>\n<p>Since he returned to office in January, President Trump\u2019s administration has heavily cracked down on immigration. Last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) implemented a new $1,000 immigration fee for migrants paroled into the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The fee aims to \u201cinstitute accountability and prevent rampant fraud of the parole system,\u201d DHS said.
