{"id":1182,"date":"2025-10-17T11:14:23","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T11:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globaltaalenthq.com\/?p=1182"},"modified":"2025-10-20T08:53:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T08:53:33","slug":"we-rate-dogs-slams-border-agents-for-allegedly-shooting-dog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globaltaalenthq.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/17\/we-rate-dogs-slams-border-agents-for-allegedly-shooting-dog\/","title":{"rendered":"We Rate Dogs slams border agents for allegedly shooting dog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 The popular Instagram account <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/dog_rates\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/x.com\/dog_rates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">We Rate Dogs<\/a> took a break from rating cute puppies to call out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/us-news\/immigration\/border-patrol-aims-gun-at-dog-resident-points-gun-at-agent\/?utm_campaign=NewsNation-trending-now&amp;utm_source=wjbf.com&amp;utm_medium=newsnation-cross-brand\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/us-news\/immigration\/border-patrol-aims-gun-at-dog-resident-points-gun-at-agent\/?utm_campaign=NewsNation-trending-now&amp;utm_source=wjbf.com&amp;utm_medium=newsnation-cross-brand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Customs and Border Protection<\/a> for allegedly killing a family&#8217;s dog.<\/p>\n<p>The account has a large following and is dedicated to rating pictures of dogs and boosting dog-related GoFundMe campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>But it recently shared <a href=\"https:\/\/kfoxtv.com\/news\/local\/el-paso-family-claims-border-patrol-killed-their-dog-during-search-cbp-reviewing-incident-texas-tx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kfoxtv.com\/news\/local\/el-paso-family-claims-border-patrol-killed-their-dog-during-search-cbp-reviewing-incident-texas-tx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a news story<\/a> from last month about an El Paso, Texas, family who said CBP agents raided their home in search of migrants and shot the family dog, Chop.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/politics\/illinois-gov-jb-pritzker-militarization-cities\/\" class=\"promo-link__link\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\tIllinois Gov calls use of National Guard \u2018dangerous power grab\u2019\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cUnsurprisingly, they did not care enough to help the family as they tried to save him,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/we-rate-dogs-immigration-agents-post-b2845980.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/we-rate-dogs-immigration-agents-post-b2845980.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">We Rate Dogs wrote<\/a>. \u201cEven more unsurprising, they did not find any evidence of the migrants they were there to terrorize in the first place. Do not open your door for these f****** losers. Rest easy Chop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The family said agents arrived at a home belonging to the adult son, who said he would allow agents to search his home and told them he put Chop, a rottweiler, in the bathroom for their safety.<\/p>\n<p>But when he went to get his ID, the family says agents entered the house, let Chop out and shot him.
